Peer Support Services

At Youth Recovery Connections (YRC), peer support is a cornerstone of our approach to healing, recovery, and long‑term stability. Our peer support services are delivered by trained staff with lived experience who understand the challenges of substance use, mental health concerns, justice involvement, and system navigation.

Peer support is rooted in connection, trust, and shared experience, offering individuals hope, understanding, and practical guidance from someone who has walked a similar path.

What Is Peer Support?

Peer support is a non‑clinical, relationship‑based service that focuses on mutual understanding, empowerment, and recovery. Peer staff use their lived experience to provide encouragement, guidance, and support while helping individuals navigate services and work toward their personal goals.

Services are voluntary, person‑centered, and grounded in respect and dignity.
