School & Student Support

YRC partners with local schools to provide students with one-on-one and small group support right on campus. Our Peer Support Specialists work alongside school staff to help students navigate challenges, build coping skills, and connect with the resources they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Support is confidential, person-centered, and tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.

How We Can Help

Students may receive support for:

  • Building healthy relationships

  • Bullying

  • Feelings of isolation

  • Gang activity

  • Goal setting and problem-solving

  • Low school motivation

  • Mental health and emotional well-being

  • Substance use concerns

  • Stress and life challenges

How We Support

Students meet with a Peer Support Specialist individually or in small groups in their wellness center or on their school campus. During these meetings, staff provide a safe, supportive space to listen, help students identify their strengths and goals, and create a personalized plan for ongoing support.

If additional support is needed, students and their families can also connect with YRC outside of school. Depending on their needs, they may be referred to other YRC services, family support, or community resources to ensure they continue receiving the help they need.

Schools We Partner With

YRC proudly partners with several local schools, including:

  • Hollister High School

  • San Andreas High School

  • Pinnacles Community School

  • Santa Ana Opportunity School

Contact your school or YRC to learn if school-based support is available on your campus.
